OK, I
didn't write about my Lap on my
LJ because there are not many girls who care about the lap procedure..or so I think....
I went in VERY
nervous. It's not everyday that they cut you open. (Almost everyday you get a giant life savor sword stuck up ya, but not cut open) So I go in and they prep me. I tell them I get sick from the
anesthesia, so they give me extra anti-
nausea stuff. The IV was the worst part. I think she put it in wrong. I
don't think
I'm a
woos about stuff like
that. I milk sympathy on other things. HAHA But this hurt so badly. So they take me right into surgery. When I wake up from what I do remember my husband told me that I had a "mild cas of Endo". Before I went under I told my Dr. about a girl who had the high side of normal insulin levels and her
Dr said she has
PCOS. I asked him if I had it because my insulin is the higher side of normal and he
chuckled and said no. So I was relieved. Anyway the a
nestassia is what kicked my butt. I did not have the
bad gas, or the pain in my shoulders everyone talks about. I did have the mild sore throat. My top of my mouth was REALLY sore and had to eat Boston Markets mac and
cheese for days. (helped my diet) And my abs were sore in
general. I did not get back to normal stuff for a week.
And because I get sad when I am having a symptom and someone
doesn't detail their symptom, then I'll wonder if I 'm experiencing the same thing, Ill tell you about my cramps....Well it
wasn't like dull throbbing period cramps. It was like a knife in you special place, slicing and dicing kind of cramps. They gave me pain pills but it
wasn't so extreme that I had to take them. I did take 2 of them, but I hated how I was so "high".
I went to the Dr. Tuesday of this week and he told me that I did have a mild
case of Endo. They did clean it up. He told me a few things....It may return in about 3 years, he would like me to do more injections for a few months, and then move to
IVF. Well my money tree has taken a vacation so we don't have the money for more
meds, more
IUIS, and more wonderful ultrasounds. I told him that we are 30 and everything is normal for us except my
progesterone. So we are going to those wonderful suppositories for a few months
before jumping back into the
meds thing. It took a major toll on me. I
don't know women do the
IVF protocol. I was a mess from the mini stem...
