Happy Anniversary

so 7 years later from our wedding date I am sooooooooooooo happy and thankful that God picked this man for me. Every single day he does something to make me smile. I am very sure that he didn't know  or understand that in sickness and health, for richer and for poorer would be soooo literal but it is...so 7 years later, I think, lucky me

a thankful list

1. a husband whom adores me
2. a husband that doesnt blame me for all my faults
3. a mom that always putss everyone first and doesnt expect anything in return.
4. insurance to pay for all my surgeries
5. Im able to walk
6. Im able to drive
7. a family that adores me
8. not having to fight for my life anymore from cancer
9. rocking the short dark curly hair look
10. having so much donated to me from breast cancer.

its impossible to be ungrateful and grateful at the same time.....so I choose to be grateful............

Shave my head

Last year, 23 days after my first chemo....I had to shave my head. Just a few days before my 35th birthday. I REALLY didnt think I was vane at all, but shaving your head when you have had long blonde hair for you whole life is........humbling. My childhood friend came and captured my very venerable moment on film.  I asked for this and she didnt even blink. So just pregnant, she came. I was super weak because I had chemo just 2 days before. but I put makeup on and she had me put a dress on. My husband shaved his head too. I would say I did it for him but I did like 2 rows.

Then a year later, Im growing my hair back...celebrating. And I find this video, and email a highschool friend who is this bigtime editor, asking her which editing program to use and she tells me to send her the file, that she will do it. Im flabergasted. Im like absolutely. And so I send her the video and she put her magical editing skills to work. I know I sound like a broken record, but Im so touched by all the love shared with me. It was such a difficult time and to know all the love shared with me is amazing.
