not a great blogger

so ive realized that I dont think im a great blogger....maybe a great wife, cleaner, photographer but blogger...um no...so I will work harder on this...

So as I said before....I was in Texas...my brother took pics of me...

and i took pics of two families there:) it was fun fun fun and seeing Calleigh was just icing in the cake....











Im working on the other little girls pics that I shot....almost done with those:)

and I did 3 maternity shoots....2 where some of my favs..and one is just not "me"...I learned from listening to Jasmine Star on Creative Live that I need to stay true to my brand and one of the shoots is just not my brand at all....The client will be so happy but I am not in lurv with the pics...

and i normally dont love flash but they came an hour later when it had rained allllllllll day and so it got dark fasttttttt....but i luv this one too




I have alot more that I have to edit still...but I was a bit sidetracked watching this awesome creative live feed...Jasmine is my new favorite thing...she inspires me...and i luv that...

I have a wedding in a few weeks that Im gonna rock!!!

and it was another "no" this month....Im kinda sick of having such strong pregnancy symptoms and then my period showing up early like a rock star....nice

Texas

So I came to Texas for 9 days....Its been wonderful...Everything that Calleigh does is my favorite thing....like her handing me my Iphone and telling she wants to play a game or dance to my ipod or watch Elmo is my favorite...Then her wanting lip gloss every 5 minutes is my favorite...I could go on and on..she is pretty awesome...

We are spending alot of time with my older brother and his kids...I wont lie, the fact that i dont have a cousin to share with them is a bit hard but oh well....I take 4521254 pics of them!

so when i get home ill post a lot of pics..they are so cute!

i tried to put the like button on my posts but i dont think it worked.

I dont want to go home and not have a pup:(

Taffy

We had to put Taffy Marie down tonight...

It was harder than I thought.....but the Dr telling us is was the best thing for her was reassuring.

So today is Sunday Aug 8th....Taffy has been sick for days...We have been to the emergency vet and the reg vet a few times....we were told that she is either is having some kind of issue in her spine having to with her disk which can be repaired by meds or it can be a blood clot in her spine which cannot be corrected by meds and she will have to be put down...

I have nursed her alot and lovey sleeps with her..she is better but not allbetter and still trembling...and then when reading about rimadyl ( the med that she is on) last night it had 45211254 horrer stories about how horrible it is.....Im so worried.

I leave for Texas on Tuesday am...she has to be better.....

a little vent

so today is going on week 4 that I havent gotten payment for a party that I shot. Not only did I go to this persons house for hours to shoot the party when it was 45212554 degrees out. I then edited 200 images and put them on 3 CD's and gave them to her...She is a neighbor. Lovey went to school with them so I didnt have any trust issues...
Just FYI....
1. people pay me at the time of service. always
2. people get around 100 images for a party
3. people dont get their CD's nor expect them for 2 weeks
4. people pay more than double what she paid for the party

since the party the follwing things have occured.....
1. I have not gotten paid
2. she went onto my business fan page at a week and asked where her pics were. Then the next few days did it again. still not paid
3. Went and hand delivered her disk to her after she told me to come over and she wasn't home so I left the disk there the day after she left the comment on my fanpage.
4. I have texted, emailed over and over.
5. I have been told the following excuses....
a. my blackberry got thrown in the toilet for the 452125 time
b. I forgot I told you to come over
c. my sons been sooo sick

and today after I spoke to her on the phone a few days ago and trusted that her plate was full and she would get me a check....she tells me, oh Im sorry I didnt get your text till this am....come over tonight and get the money...Im 8 weeks pregnant and soooo sick so the last 2 weeks have been horrible..um did you forget that we spoke only 4 days ago and you didnt mention it at all..now she is saying its been two weeks...and she doesnt know how she feels about being pregnant....with her 3rd...um I had 4 IVF's that you know about...and yet your gonna pull the sympathy card on my about how your not sure if you happy or not to be pregnant....

I truly think I was handling this like a champ till she pulled the last pregnancy thing...I thought I was strong...guess not...

btw, this person doesnt read my blog but just in case you find this...for the record I was nice to you on the phone...but I cried when I got off....you have no idea how lucky you are to have another accident and be pregnant. I cant even get pregnant on purpose. You need to pay me. You need to make it a priority. This is my business. This isnt very nice of you to make me beg for my money.
