Last week our pastor spoke on how it is so easy to praise God when things are going GREAT, but when you things don't go our way, how do we handle it?
This was a great topic. I had plenty to practice with allll week.
All in a few days I found out or experienced:
Dad was rushed to hospital in ambulance, admitted to ICU. the newest CT scan shows the cancer has spread to now the liver, adrenal glands and his lymph nodes are swollen so probably in them too.
My pharmacy side of my insurance says that I have no coverage and I have to get them to override it AGAIN but now I am running out of time.
My IVF clinic does NOT want to start me on my meds because my genetic probe isn't complete even though I have already been told I can start my meds and that it will be done in plenty of time.
My best friend is WAY busy with soooooo many things in her own life. Her babies are involved with so many things. Her husband and her have been doing more things together, her sister is home and going through ALOT of things. So she is VERY involved with all of that and I feel a little left out. I just keep praying that she can clone herself because i miss the crap out of her and am used to having all of her to myself with all that I am going through.
I dropped my camera and broke it. Yes the 1500$ camera
I am going to Texas and lovey may not be able to go again because of his job.
A good friend of mine is getting a divorce after 5 years of marraige and a little girl.
so how do I handle all of this? I am thankful. I thankful for all the things in my life. As our pastor said. What lense do you use? the lense of poor me, or this will be great?
My dad has been blessed with over a year after diagnosis when they told me that people usually only get 6 months...
I start BCP for my IVF tomorrow
God is soooooo good. I have found a church that I love and that my husband enjoys alot. I am so thankful to Jess and Tony and Mindy for asking us to go. I had shyed away thinkin it was a family affair for Jess but its one of the best things I have ever gotten from our friendship.
My marriage is getting stronger and stronger with every minute. Its such a blessing.
I found out that DJ went to church today with Bre and Calleigh.- this is a LONNNNNG answer to prayer.
DJ has rekindled his relationship with my Dad. he there right now visiting him.
My Shani is praying and reading the bible too:)
My best friend is there for her sister and who could be a better person then my Jess.
My husband bought the ext warranty on the camera, so its going back to be fixed.
A really good of mine that works for SW Airlines gave me buddy passes for me to go see my family.
As I sat outside while my husband changed the brakes on his truck. I was overcome with joy. We got up together and I made coffee. He made me breakfast. I made him lunch. I asked him to help me clean up. He did with a smile and a lot of laughter. We then cleaned out front storage room and laughed the whole time. Its been a great day.
So last night church was about relationships. I don't think the marriage thing truly applied to me because it was more about broken marriages and broken relationships. So I am taking what I learned and applying it my relationship with my Dad and his wife and to the relationship with our brother n law and his wife.
so Ill end with...what lens do you look at your life through?
